Modern Slavery Statement

We commit to observing relevant international standards, as well as all national law requirements, on working conditions in the countries in which we operate. This statement is made for the current financial year for CS Disco, Inc. (a Delaware, U.S. corporation) and its wholly owned subsidiaries: CS Disco Limited (UK), CS Disco Canada Limited (Canada), and CSDisco India Private Limited (India).

Introduction

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights, taking various forms such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business.

Organizational Structure and Supply Chains

CS Disco, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, headquartered in Austin, U.S. with additional offices in New York, U.S., London, U.K., and Gurugram, India.
‍
DISCO provides technology-enabled legal services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that specialize in electronic discovery, legal document review, and case management. Our organizational structure includes a global workforce of employees, directors, and officers, as well as agency workers, seconded workers, and interns. DISCO’s Compliance Steering Committee, comprised of members of DISCO’s senior leadership team, has primary responsibility for the design, implementation, and monitoring of DISCO’s compliance program.

Our supply chains include, but are not limited to technology and software providers, data center services, office and IT equipment suppliers, and professional services such as legal and accounting consultants. We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, and we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour within our contracting processes. These commitments are reflected in our Terms and Conditions, which contain an express human trafficking clause, and in our Terms of Use, which set forth a list of prohibited uses of our services, including theviolation of any applicable laws and the exploitation of minors.

Policies in Relation to Slavery and Human Trafficking

Our Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Policy (the “Policy”) sets out DISCO’s expectations for its personnel, and those of individuals working for or on our behalf, in upholding our position on these issues. This policy applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees, directors, agency workers, volunteers, interns, agents, contractors, and business partners. We require all individuals under our control to read, understand, and comply with this policy.

Our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics (the "Code") establishes DISCO's fundamental commitment to maintaining the highest standards of business conduct and ethics across all aspects of our operations. The Code supports our position on these issues by requiring strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and by setting forth the ethical principles that guide our business practices. The Code applies to all directors, officers, and employees of DISCO and its subsidiaries, and we expect all those acting on our behalf to adhere to these standards.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

To identify and mitigate risk, we have established clear reporting and oversight procedures:
‍
Internal Oversight: The DISCO General Counsel has primary and day-to-day responsibility for implementing the Policy and monitoring its effectiveness.
Reporting Mechanisms: Anyone who suspects a breach of the Policy or Code of Business Conduct and Ethics is required to notify their manager, the DISCO General Counsel, or our confidential 3rd party helpline.
Confidential Helpline: Individuals may raise concerns through our confidential 3rd party helpline.
Protection for Whistleblowers: We support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith and are committed to ensuring no one suffers detrimental treatment, such as dismissal or disciplinary action, as a result of reporting. These commitments are reflected in our Whistleblower Policy for Accounting and Auditing Matters which is publicly available on our Governance Documents page.
‍
Due to the nature of our business, our procurement processes, and our straightforward supply chains, we believe that there is a very low risk of slavery, forced labor, or human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chains. To date, we have not discovered any modern slavery in our supply chains.

Internal Awareness and Training

We provide regular training and communication to ensure a high level of understanding regarding the risks of modern slavery. Training on modern slavery and the risks our business faces forms part of the induction process for all individuals who work for us. Additional training is provided as appropriate. Our commitment to addressing modern slavery is communicated to all contractors and business partners at the outset of our relationship.
